Michael Chiesa is well past his prime and even in his prime, he wasn't a top 15 caliber fighter. He's a grinding wrestler with experience and toughness, he's also more than good enough to win here. Niko is clearly stepping up for the pay day and good for him, get your money when you can, but this is probably the end of the road for him at the UFC. I think Chiesa can win both on the feet and on the ground and this is a fight for the in arena fans.
Michael Chiesa
Michael Chiesa is a grappler who is pretty one dimensional and has a straight forward gameplan. He comes forward, looks for takedowns and works from there. He doesn't have a versatile set of takedowns but the few that he uses, like body locks, do work well. Once on top he has solid pressure and can alternate between ground and pound and submissions. He is coming off the busy win over Court McGee where he doubled the strikes but had no takedowns
Niko Price
Niko Price is an incredibly fun fighter who has a willingness to put himself in harms way for the fans. He has solid striking and good submissions. He has two knockout KOs off his back and he's always doing something. But he can also lose to anyone on any day because of a lack of skills and slipping chin. He is coming off the KO loss to Nikolay Verritenikov where he tried to strike and then was put out on his feet.
