I said it before his last fight and I will say it before this one too, Michael Aswell is better than people give him credit for. Unfortunately though, not good enough to win here. Joo Sang Yoo is just too well rounded and has too many tools to be walked down by Aswell. He can mix in the takedowns whenever he wants too and even though Daniel Santos knocked him out, Aswell doesn’t carry that same power. Yoo is pick and we will keep an eye on some prop bets here.

Michael Aswell Jr.

Michael Aswell is a forward pressure striker who always has a jab out there. He is tough as nails and literally doesn’t stop moving forward. His striking defense isn’t what you would want it to be, but his offense is so intense, that it doesnt always matter. He can grapple as well but its never his plan A. He’s a tough guy who stays busy and will make his opponents work. He is coming off the decision loss to Gaston Bolanos where he was too hittable and he slowed down.

Joo Sang Yoo

Joo Sang Yoo is a great prospect. He has a very fluid striking style where he bounces on his toes and closes range with a wide stance. He switches from southpaw to orthodox and mixes up where he throws his punches. He has a Poaton-esque style with the wide stance and forward pressure while calculating his shots. He can grapple as well with clean takedowns and control. He is coming off the knockout loss to Daniel Santos in a fight that he was winning before being caught
