Matt Schnell doesn't have the best record and I have personally used him as an example as to how bad some fight cards can be, but in his defense his losses are quality and he is a decent fighter. His biggest issue though is his takedown defense kinda stinks and Joseph Morales has good takedowns. This fight is literally that straight foward. I think Joseph takes Schnell down whenever he wants and avoids any submission trouble.

Matt Schnell

Matt Schnell is a striker with solid BJJ. He prefers to counter strike and does a good job getting you to follow him so he can plant his feet and fire back with combinations. He doesn't shoot every often and averages fewer than 1 takedown per fight, but his BJJ is solid and he can snatch things up in scrambles. But while he can be slick on the ground he does struggle to get it there with poor takedown defense. His chin doesn't always hold up but he is very tough, very scrappy but taken down insanely easily.

Joseph Morales

Joseph Morales is a solid wrestler and grappler. He doesn't desperately shoot takedowns, but when he does, he gets to the legs and elevates. On the ground he has great control and pateince. His striking isn't great but he can take a shot and is tough as hell. His issue on the feet is he is a bit too patient but he does a good job bobbing and weaving to avoid what comes his way. He is coming off the triangle choke win in his UFC debut.
