Marquel was very impressive in his last fight. The leg kicks were great, the composure was great and all around he looked fantastic. I just don't think Padilla will give him room to breath. I think he comes forward immediately and looks to smother Marquel. Marquel struggled a little bit with Austin Hubbard and Padilla will fight like that with twice the pace. Padilla is going to be the pick here and its really interesting matchup with clean technique vs grit and grind.
MarQuel Mederos
Marquel Mederos is a very good striker who strings together combinations and throws up volume. He is insanely comfortable in his fights and flows very well. He is primarily a striker but he can grapple as well with slick takedowns, slicks takedown defense slick submissions. He is very athletic and has fantastic fight IQ. He is coming off the one sided win over Mark Chonski
Chris Padilla
Chris Padilla is a pretty well rounded guy who likes to come forward, briefly strike, move to a clinch and work a takedown. He's not great at anything but he does pressure forward and he is pretty durable. He's very explosive, especially with his takedowns. He has plenty of activity and plenty of cardio and has been a very impressive grinder. He is coming off the finish win over Ismael Bonfim.
