I made the mistake of picking a powerful wrestler against Yoursi in his last fight and I paid dearly with a Safety Parlay loss… I will not make that mistake again. Mansur is a very good fight with power and wrestling. He is also someone we saw barely squeak out a win against Cody Brundage and get dropped bad against a horrendous Jiu Jitsu nerd in Nick Klein. If Yoursi has the same range management in this fight as he did his last, he should be able to dot up Mansur and run away with a win. I'm going to trust my fellow Connecticut brethren and go with Yoursi here. For Mansur to win he needs to come forward aggressively and and not slow down where Bekoev did andI'm not sure he can do that.
Mansur Abdul-Malik
Mansur Abdul-Malik is a very good grappler with D1 college wrestling experience. He comes forward, throws heavy and then wrestles. His takedowns are big and clean and his striking is powerful. He does a nice job lifting when he needs to and has great control on the ground. He also has great elbows from top and will work. He is coming off the quick submission win over Antonio Trocioli.
Yousri Belgaroui
Yousri Belgaroui is a former kickboxer who much like his Alex Peira made the jump to MMA. Also like Alex Pereira he is tremendous for this weight class and trains at Glover's gym in Connecticut. He is a stoic 6'5 with fantastic kicks that fully utilize his power and range. When he isn't worried about takedowns, he lets his hands fly, but if you faint on him, he can freeze up. Overall he is a dangerous guy that does a great job using his length. He is coming off the underdog win over Azamat Bekoev
