This is a really fun matchup between two guys who will get after it. Luke is going to be the faster fighter and the cleaner striker, but Bogdan will have a wrestling and grappling advantage. So we need to decide if we think Bogdan gets the takedowns or if Luke can keep this standing and land at will. I'm leaning Luke here. His entire fight library is him defending takedowns and then finding finishes. Everyone he has every fought has tried to take him down, so this should be no different. i think the speed will be the biggest factor here so Luke is the pick, but be careful because we have been burned on hyped Cage Warrior prospects in the past – i.e Harry Hardwick.

Luke Riley

Luke Riley is a carbon copy of almost every other Cage Warrior signing. He is a fast athletic striker who does everything possible to keep fights on the feet. He has plenty of finishes and does a great job doing damage in the clinch. The takedown defense is decent and if he is taken down, he stays busy and looks to work up. His combinations are impressive where he works your body and head in the same exchange. Overall he is a fun fighter and good signing.

Bogdan Grad

Bogdan Grad is a well rounded guy with solid striking. His striking is very straight forward where he sticks to jabs and setups instead of chasing knockouts. He has heavy kicks and invests in the legs early to slow you down. He will work in wrestling as well where he wil attempt multiple takedowns and then focus on control more than submissions. He is coming off the loss to Muhammaed Niamov where he was a bit undersized and a 3rd round scramble likely cost him the fight.
