This is a sloppy heavyweight matchup that will look the part. The bad news is that both these guys kinda stink. The good news is that we might actually have a fun fight here. The odds have Justin as a slight favorite and thats probably spot on. Skills are about even but Justin at least has the high level experience. I like that Louie will shoot the occasional takedown and that he doesn't feel the need to rush in and chase power. So i'm actually going to pick him here. Both guys stink so let's be extra clear that picks and bets are not the same thing.

Louie Sutherland

Louie Sutherland is a heavy handed striker who has the stance of a body builder, but is surprisingly versatile for someone with his build. He uses kicks and long jabs to manage range before committing to power. When he lets his hands go he has a ton of power and a good amount of speed. He can be hittable which is concerning at this weight class, but his range management keeps him away. He is buy no means a great wrestler, but he does have the occasional takedown.

Justin Tafa

Justin Tafa is a heavyweight striker with big power and a fantastic chin. When he gets his kicks going, he has solid kicks as well. He has zero takedowns in the UFC and outside of the Karl Williams fight has never been taken down either. If you swing and bang with Tafa you could have trouble, but if you take your time and pot around, you can have success. He is coming off the 35 second KO loss to Tallison Teixeira at UFC 312.
