Julius Walker just lost to a 40 year old man, only has 7 professional fights and hasn't proven himself on any meaningful level, but here he is at -600. And obviously i have eyes and can see that Raffael isn't great. But Raffael has more KO wins than Julius has fights. His two UFC losses are to people who would both beat Julius as well. Julius probably wins here given his sheer size and athleticism, but what the hell are we doing here? What the hell is the state of MMA gamblers when people are dumping -600 in situations like this. I am going to pick Julius because he has a solid chin and if he wants to grapple he can, but i promise you, i will do nothing with that information. No bets, nothing.
Julius Walker
Julius Walker is very early in his MMA career at 6-1 and has only been fighting professionally for 2 years. His inexperience does show and he can end up in bad positions at times and is then forced to rely on athleticism to get through. He is definitely flashy and has some power. There are some holes in his takedown defense, but he is defensively sound enough to avoid easy submissions. He has solid offensive BJJ and is very capable of finding something in a scramble. He is coming off the fun back and forth against Alonzo Menified in his UFC debut.
Raffael Cerqueira
Raffael Cerqueira is a patient guy who fights very loose and fluidly. He is not in a hurry, doesn't chase finishes and doesn't even seem to throw with intent. But he is very dangerous. He's athletic enough to be creative on his feet and has a good enough ground game to hang there as well. He is pretty big at 6'4 and uses that size to move forward and get you on your back foot. What's odd is that despite having 10 finishes, she seems to be uncomfortable striking and even flinches. He is coming off the KO loss to Modestas Bukauskas
