This is another fight where i think the odds are a bit wide. I'm a big Joselyne supporter and have picked her in almost every matchup. She is technically very sound and a versatile striker but like many others, she doesn't fight nearly as well moving backwards as she does forward and in a matchup with Pricsilla, we can expect forward pressure. While i think Priscilla can make this ugly on the feet, i do love that Joselyne is working in more takedowns and can slide under an overextended right hand to get the takedown. Joselyn is the pick but probably keeping an eye on the odds to see if they tighten.

Joselyne Edwards

Joselyne Edwards is a good kickboxer who uses range well. She has a nice variety of strikes but does prefer to kick. She does a great job throwing in cominations and working your body. If you can get inside and make it a dirty fight you can have success but getting inside her range isn't the easiest thing to do. The knock on her has been her takedown defense but not only is that improving, she is using more of her own offensive takedowns. She is coming off the finish win over giant Chelsea Chandler where the striking and grappling looked fantastic.

Priscila Cachoeira

Priscila Cachoeira is a powerful striker who has heavy pressure and throws heavy punches. She has very real power for this division but can be KO or bust. If you look at the stats, you will notice Priscila's striking differental of about 4-7 which means for every 4 significant strikes she lands, she is hit 7 times. She is a bully fighter. She isn't typically the more skilled fighter in the cage but her physicality and pressure can get her wins. She is coming off the KO win over Josiane Nunes where she was bombing 1-2s before landing a beautiful uppercut.
