Jim Miller vs. Jared Gordon Pick, Prediction and Bets

MILLER VS GORDON

Breaking down this fight is tough because you essentially have to dismiss Gordon's last fight. He blew his knee out the night before in a parking lot and definitely was not fighting at 100%. That version of Jared got bullied, taken down and really couldn't get his hands going. if you think his knee was an issue in that fight, then you have to dismiss it, and thats essentially what the odds makers did here because Jared is an astonishing 3-1 favorite. If you want to make the argument for Jared to win, thats fine. He is faster, the better striker and a good enough grappler to not get subbed, so he probably does win. But laying out 3-1 money against an all timer like Jim Miller at home in NJ is insane. With that being said he is 3-3-1 fighting for the UFC in jersey will all 3 losses being stoppages.

Jim Miller

Jim Miller is an astonishing 42 years olds and has the records to prove it. He has the most amount of fights and wins in UFC history. He is also the only fighter to have fought at UFC 100, 200 and 300. As you know by now, he is a very good grappler with clean boxing and ok wrestling. He has all the veteran savvy, toughness and grit you could ever want from a fighter. He is definitely starting to show his age but continues to defy it in the Octagon. He is coming off the grappling loss to Chase Hooper where new school BJJ beat old school BJJ.

Jared Gordon

Jared Gordon is also a bit older for an MMA fighter at 38, but he's a good wrestler with high volume striking. He likes to come forward in flurries before looking for a takedown. He averages almost 2 takedowns per fight but he can be out grappled. He is not particularly dangerous but he is tough and he is busy. He is coming of the TKO loss to Rafa Garcia, but remember, he was hit by a car the night before.
