When I saw a relative unknown was a -400 favorite I was surprised. Then I watched all the tape and I am no longer befuddled. Chaves beats the shit out of Yuneisy. Yuneisy is tough, but she will throw giant punches, miss and then get eaten up alive on the feet. I can't even say she will wrestle because we just saw Chaves on the Contender Series be taken down, get elbowed up and still keep grinding. UFC debuts are always tricky, women are always tricky so a female UFC debut is seemingly very tricky, but not here. Confident in Chaves.

Jeisla Chaves

Jeisla Chaves is an aggressive Muay Thai striker who will work with all her tools and switch stances. He will slam elbows in the pocket, throw with volume, knee in the clinch and if she ends up on top, throw heavy ground and pound. She has dog in her as well and can take a beating. Her takedown defense isn't great but when she's on her feet she's using the best of her time and not waiting to throw. She is coming off the Contender Series war which punched her ticket to the big show.

Yuneisy Duben

Yuneisy Duben is an aggressive striker who rushes forward with big power. She recorded one of the best knockouts on the Contender Series and certainly the best female KO. She literally moved forward, didn't care what was coming her way and went off. That was a perfectly embodiment of who she is as a fighter, which makes her impossible to break down. She's not good, she's crazy tough, loves to fight and never quits. We just watched her get KO'd by Carli Judice where it was clear she is 1 punch or bust.
