Junior Tafa is a kickboxer and if you give him a matchup where he doesn't have to worry about takedowns, he can have success. We literally just saw that in his last fight. So now we need to decide if we think he is a good enough kickboxer to avoid the speed and power coming at him and execute his own gameplan and thats where this gets tricky because Iwo is seemingly a killer, but he has only beaten literal bums. A win over Austen Lane means less than nothing. We have never seen Iwo get ot the second round, let alone a decision. If he can't get Junior out of there early, it's possible he death gasses. Now I'm still going to Pick Iwo because if you digging through the depths of regional European MMA you will see that if he needs to, Iwo can wrestle and we know for a fact that Junior cannot. So Iwo has speed, power and a backup plan so he's the pick, but I'd wait before anchoring every parlay with him.

Iwo Baraniewski

Iwo Baraniewski is a very exciting and well rounded guy. On the feet he is polish power with lunging right hands. He shoots well timed takedowns and then on the ground starts blasting away looking for finishes. He is very active and can take the fight anywhere. He is still pretty young in his career but outside of cleaning up the techniques that he already has, i wouldn't say there are any glaring gaps in skills. He's coming off 28 second KO win over Austen Lane.

Junior Tafa is a kickboxer with power, footwork and a willingness to engage. He is a long and lean guy, especially for this weight class. He has power, a decent chin and clean striking technique. The problem is that his takedown defense lacks and there is an obvious hole to exploit. He is coming off the KO win over Kevin Christian which broke a 2 fight skid.
