This is another pretty clear spot. This has to be Iwo. He has the power to KO Austen, he has the wrestling to take him down and hopefully he has the takedown defense to keep it standing. I say hopefully because we haven't seem much defensive wrestling from him, but I am not worried about it here. The only time Austen successfully wrestled was against Robelis Despaign who had literally no takedown defense whatsoever. Iwo is the pick and this matchup is just here to get him a win and start to build prospects in the UFC's weakest weight class.

Iwo Baraniewski

Iwo Baraniewski is a very exciting and well rounded guy. On the feet he is polish power with lunging right hands. He shoots well timed takedowns and then on the ground starts blasting away looking for finishes. He is very active and can take the fight anywhere. He is still pretty young in his career but outside of cleaning up the techniques that he already has, i wouldn't say there are any glaring gaps in skills. He's coming off the KO win over Ibo Aslan

Austen Lane

Austen Lane is a former NFL player who started his MMA career about 10 years ago. He is a large, powerful, athletic guy who has competed at the highest level in sports. He's fast for his size and like to jump in with a flurry of strikes and then jump back out. He can grapple as well using his size and athleticism to get you to the ground. He is coming off the submission loss to Austen Lane where he was on the ground and tapping out in the first round.
