I like Iasmin here. Both of these women want to get the fight to the ground, but in my opinion Iasmin is the better wrestler and more aggressive fighter overall. Nicolle may have the cleaner striking but she will be on her back foot which is bad for both takedown defense and striking offense.

Iasmin Lucindo

Iasmin Lucindo is a grappler who uses her speed and power to clinch and drag her opponents to the ground. Once on the ground she has solid top pressure where she uses strikes to loosen you up before transitioning to submissions. Her striking is just ok, she essentially waits for you to throw, then counters and rushes in looking for the takedowns. Her gameplan is always to get on top and control the fight there. She is coming off the decision win over Angela Hill where youth was on her side.

Nicolle Caliari

Nicolle Caliari is a busy grappler who will take her time striking before closing distance and working you to the cage. Her takedowns are not great, but she does have a very nice clinch and body work where she not only ties you up, but also launches knees and works. When she gets you on the ground she is very aggressive with her transitions. She wastes no time working to side control, mount and other dominant positions. She is coming off the bounce back win over the horrendous, Shaunna Bannon.
