Maybe i'm just being typical fence riding Ang but a lot of these matchups seem super close to be having 2-1 favorites in them. Angela Hill just showed us that some speed and veteran savvy can beat these young prospects. This matchup is a little different though for Angela because Iasmin will bully forward and work takedowns so the speed advantage may not matter since she's just looking to smother. I am going to pick Lucindo here, but this may be another perfect +3.5 spot.
Iasmin Lucindo
Iasmin Lucindo is a grappler who uses her speed and power to clinch and drag her opponents to the ground. Once on the ground she has solid top pressure where she uses strikes to losen you up before transitioning to submissions. Her striking is just ok, she essentially waits for you to throw, then counters and rushes in looking for the takedowns. Her gameplan is always to get on top and control the fight there. She is coming off the decision loss to Amanda Lemos where they landed a combined 16 strikes in 15 minutes.
Angela Hill
Angela Hill is a high IQ veteran fighter. She is mostly a striker with speed, volume and lots of versatility, but not much power. She is a talented fighter who has become the gate keeper of the weight class. She is good everywhere but not a threat. Her path to victory in this and every other fight is to stick and move, avoid power, avoid takedowns and exploit rookie mistakes. She is coming off the decision win over Ketlen Souza where speed, cage control and veteran savvy got it done.
