87% of people picking Vallejos on Tapology is insane. I get that you have likely convinced yourself that Giga is washed, and you know what, he might be, but you cannot ignore the incredibly wide experience gap here. Giga hasn't had the best performances recently, but he is losing to top 15 strikers in the world. Kevin is beating regional guys and lost to the only ranked fighter he fought. Should Kevin win here? Probably, he's younger, faster, more active, seems to have cardio. But I'm going with experience here. The pick is Giga. The guy looks like Mega Mind, so let's assume he's smart as shit and uses his fight IQ. I also think his kicking range and high level experience can squeak out a close win over a kid thats pretty green behind the ears.

Giga Chikadze

Giga Chikadze is a very good striker with a solid jab and fantastic kicks. He does an incredible job managing range and uses his kicks to do so. The kicks keep you at distance and then he comes firing in with his hands. He is not a high volume guy landing around 4 significant strikes per minute but he does a nice job of keeping his opponents volume low as well. He is coming off the loss to David Onama where he was taken down 3 times.

Kevin Vallejos

Kevin Vallejos is a powerful striker who sends a beautiful 1-2. If you kick, he catches it and then bombs an overhand with the other hand. He is very comfortable on his feet, very dangerous and has impressive speed considering his power. He has a few submissions but he does have some grappling holes. He can be heavy on his front leg, but so far no one has exploited it. He is coming off the decision win over Danny Silva where he had volume and worked in takedowns.
