Geoff Neal is the better overall fighter, but at 35 years old and coming off the KO he just came off of he needs ot be careful here. He basically needs to start diving at legs immediately which is an obvious gameplan on paper, but not one that he has executed before. He has 14 fights in the UFC with a total of 5 takedowns. I fully understand that his recent losses are to Carlos Prates, Ian Garry and Shavkat, but he doesn't have any recent wins. The win over RDA was an injury and the Luque fight was 4 years ago. The only reason i am not all in on the other side here is because Uros is a bit chinny himself and has nothing to offer if this does somehow end up on the ground. I'm going to pick Geoff here but I don't like it and maybe the only real bet should be a round under because of how dangerous and finishable these guys both are.
Geoff Neal
Geoff Neal is a good striker with real power, solid volume and solid takedown defense. He isn't the most technical but with his power and aggression, he doesn't need to be. Geoff likes to dictate the pace, range and exchanges. If he can stay at kicking range and use those kicks to set up his punches he will have a ton of success. But if you get in his face and tie him up, he gets frustrated and exhausted. He is coming off the KO loss to Carlos Prates.
Uros Medic
Uros Medic is a clean and technical striker. He comes out fast and loose with a 100% finish rate in his 12 wins and unfortunately his 3 losses well. He has speed, power, and a legit killer instinct. His chin can be questions, but wen he smells blood he goes for broke. His takedown defense sits at a low 55% but that is a bit skewed because he was taken down 7 times by Mytkbek Oralbai. He is coming off the KO win over an elderly Muslim Salikhov
