No idea why this line is close. As far as I can tell, Farman dominates this fight. He has more powerful hands, the wrestling upside and just moves forward. He will be bigger, stronger, faster and more dangerous. My only actual concern here is that he gasses out trying to finish Nolan, but honestly if he has Nolan in a position to be finished, i think he gets the job done. Farman has only fought absolute bums so maybe the tape is misleading, but I genuinely think this is a pretty straight forward win for him so he's the pick and these odds are a great deal right now.
Farman Hasanov
Farman Hasanov is a strong aggressive guy who does everything at 100%. He is throwing every strike like its a finishing combination, he is running through every takedown like he is in a tournament finals, he is scrambling his ass off, looking for submissions… literally doing everything possible to finish fights. He can be a bit reckless at times because he is chasing finishes, but he is well rounded and knows when to initiate wrestling vs when to strike.
Eric Nolan
Eric Nolan is traditionally a welterweight but he did make his UFC debut at middleweight on 4 days notice. I assumed he was up in weight because of the short notice, but here is again at middleweight. Style wise he is a well rounded guy who can strike and grapple. He does a good job pressing forward with jabs and high kicks while maintaining defense. He can be low volume at times and ball up when offense comes his way, but he has big power and is very composed. He is coming off the debut loss to Baisangur Susurkaev
