You know that Islam meme where they ask him who would win in a fight between him and a kangaroo and he says “no one tests the kangaroo's wrestling?” thats kind of this fight. Erin is such a good grappler that outside of JJ Aldrich, who got subbed, people aren't looking to wrestle her but that will not be the case here. I really want to pick Tracy. She is the better wrestler and should be a good enough grappler to not get subbed. Erin's takedowns legit suck, but she's tough. Insanely tough. She will not stop moving forward, not stop looking for submissions, and not stop trying to win the fight. I have to pick Erin here because of those intangibles. This pick is somewhat similar to when I picked against Caio Borralho because he seemed too busy doing a UFC press tour to train.

Erin Blanchfield

Erin Blanchfield is a nasty grappler. She comes forward, throws punches for a minute and then starts working her grappling. She is still young and still cleaning things up but she is improving quickly and up until her last fight, people were calling her the next champion. She averages around 6 significant strikes per minute and 2 takedowns per fight. She is coming off the bounce back win over Rose Namajunas where she had a pair of takedowns and 9 minutes of control and then more recently the cancelled main event against Maycee Barber where she was minutes away from making the walk.

Tracy Cortez

Tracy Cortez is a fantastic wrestler and grappler. She is listed has having a positive striking differential but you need to keep in mind that she also gets almost 3 takedowns per fight and spends the majority of her time on top. Her striking is technical and busy but not powerful. Her takedowns however are clean and when she gets to the ground she has great control. Despite having incredible BJJ she isn't very dangerous and relies on her wrestling and cardio to grind out wins. She is coming off the bounce back win over Viviane Araujo where she had easy takedowns and lots of grinding.
