Erin Blanchfield vs. Jasmine Jasudavicius Pick, Prediction and Bets

Erin Blanchfield vs. Jasmine Jasudavicius

This is another really tough fight to break down because I am a stan for Jasmine. Her wrestling and BJJ are very impressive and her striking is decent. That means she can win this fight the same way she beat Miranda Maverick, defend the takedowns and win the striking exchanges. She could also win this fight the same way she just beat Karine Silva, get the takedowns and trust her BJJ defense enough to stay safe and work on top. This will be interesting because we have been conditioned to think empty takedowns don’t matter and Jasmine will likely get takedowns and then be defending instead of attacking. Thats exactly what we saw vs Silva in the first round. All 3 judges gave Karine round 1 because of her activity off her back. Assuming Erin can stay as active as Karine or even get her own takedown (unlikely), she can and should win this fight. Every fiber of me wants to pick Jasmine but I think those fibers are just Erin haters. This is a great fight and I knw you people just complained about UFC 330 being headlined by a 5 round lady fight, but this would be nice as a 5 round co-main for the number one contender spot.

Erin Blanchfield

Erin Blanchfield is a nasty grappler. She comes forward, throws punches for a minute and then starts working her grappling. She is still young and still cleaning things up but she is improving quickly and people are calling her the next champion. She averages more than 5 significant strikes per minute and 2 takedowns per fight. She is coming off the submission win over Tracy Cortez

Jasmine Jasudavicius

Jasmine Jasudavicius is a wrestler who who likes to come forward and push the pace with her striking before working in takedowns. She has a solid clinch where she controls your body, throws heavy knees. She is a very accomplished wrestler with fantastic hips so if there is a scramble she will end up on top. She is incredible tough and not afraid to engage. She is coming off the decision win over Karine Silva where her BJJ defense looked incredible while defending early.
