The first thing people are going to do here is point out that Barbosa is 39 while completely ignoring the fact that Drakkar is 37 and has a liteny of injuries. I don't think age will be a factor here but pace might be. Edson cuts a ton of weight and does tend to slow down. If Drakkar comes out with a wrestle heavy gameplan he could definitely wear on Edson and take away the power. I'm split here because I really want to pick Drakkar as a dog, but I haven't really seen anything yet that tells me Barboza is washed. I'm going to slightly lean Edson here but might change that pick as we get closer to the fight.

Edson Barbosa

Edson Barbosa is a great striker with amazing movement. He has fought every single person in this division and is a walking highlight reel of KOs and submissions. He is unbelievably fast and insanely technical. Barboza doesn't initiate many takedowns, but he is very good on the ground with some sneaky submissions. He is coming off the main event loss to Lerone Murphy more than a year ago.

Drakkar Klose

Drakkar Klose is a very good wrestler who developed striking as well. He was a state champion wrestler who uses his wrestling offense, but does have some issues defending takedowns. He has solid boxing with power and speed. Overall he is a well rounded guy who can go the distance or finish a fight. He is coming off KO loss to Joel Alvarez where he had a takedown but couldn't hang in the striking.
