When i break down fights I consider a lot of things but race is never one of them. It has nothing to do with how well somebody can or cannot fight. But I am 100% sure that you people do, thats right, you people, the comment people who will point out the disproportionate success that Drew has had when fighting people of color compared to when he fights white people. This is a tough fight to break down. Both guys are a little older. Both have been finished in recent losses, neither one has a meaningful win (outside of a flat Zellbuer) in the last couple of years. So here we are with a very evenly matched fight that should be a lot of fun. My brain is telling me that Michael Johnson is the more well rounded fighter who will stay mobile and potshot his way to a win while my gut is telling me Drew will move forward, bring chaos and win a fun one. Given the destruction my gut has brought myself and the guest bathroom as of late, i'm going with the brain. Michael Johnson is the pick. WITD dec. no action on Drew is a fun bet though

Drew Dober

Drew Dober is a fun take one to give one striker who previously had one of the best chins in MMA but it is fading. He has nice power and a willingness to brawl. He is technically sound but that doesn't stop him from getting wild. He only has a 56% takedown defense but he does such a good job baiting people into fire fights that he isn't defending very often. As of late Dober has been kill or be killed but he hasn't lost his power. He is coming off his 3rd loss in a row, this time a KO by Manuel Torres

Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson is a tried and tru vet who has fought a long line of former champions and title challengers. Skill wise he is pretty good everywhere, he is a talented striker who doesn't have a ton of power but does have nice footwork. He has a positive striking differential and the occasional takedown. His takedown defense is an impressive 81% and once you factor in the level of opponent he has been fighting, all of these stats are even more impressive. He is coming off the decision win over an uninspired Daniel Zellhuber
