My notes for Diyar from his last fight are “hittable loser bum”. Most of that was frustration over how that fight went. The reality is that he is pretty dangerous everywhere and solid. His striking defense sucks, but so does Uran. This could be the sloppiest fight we have ever seen, but also be fun. Two big duded who will throw without defending and randomly shoot takedowns. Diyar is going to be the pick because at least I have seen him in an Octagon get a win.

Diyar Nurgozhay

Kazakstan is not only the home of Borat but is quickly becoming the home of many young MMA fighters. Diyar Nurgozhay is one of newer the prospects out of the worlds highest Pubis producer. Diyar has big hands, big wrestling and a very good resume for someone this early in their career. He is a wrestler by trade but has no issues mixing it up on the feet and finding finishes everywhere. We have seen him grind for 15 minutes as well as finish in under 1. Diyar is a very real prospect but he did just shit the bed against Brendson Ribeiro where he was getting hit so he worked in some takedowns to ultimately be submitted.

Uran Satybaldiev

Uran Satybaldiev is the biggest dude at Team Alpha Male which is a gym that made a name for iteself off the backs of little guy wrestlers. But that not who Uran is. He is a big dude who can slug it out or shoot takedown. He is pretty tough but you can tell he doesn't exactly have striking defense. He is pretty hittable and will duck for takedowns when things get crazy. He made his short notice UFC debut at heavyweight, but he is a light heavyweight who is fighting at his natural weight class here.
