I get picking Diyar here, and I will probably do the same, but he is not that good. The wrestling hasn't translated to the UFC, the grappling stinks, and anyone with some durability can seemingly just wear him down. Bruno Lopes could absolutely come in here, get some takedowns, like he did in his UFC debut, and grind out Diyar. The only reason I am not going to outright pick Bruno is because he kinda stinks too and his only chance to win here would be to wrestle. This is a battle of the bad but the pick will be Diyar because even though he has lost twice in the UFC, he isn't constantly being KO'd.

Diyar Nurgozhay

Diyar Nurgozhay was supposed another Kazakhstani prospect, but instead he went 0-2 on the world's largest stage before finally getting a win. On the regional scene he had big hands, big wrestling and a very good resume for someone this early in their career. He is a wrestler by trade but has no issues mixing it up on the feet and finding finishes everywhere. We have seen him grind for 15 minutes as well as finish in under 1. He is coming off his first UFC win, a jabbing decision over Rafael Tobias.

Bruno Lopes

Bruno Lopes is a forward pressure striker who has no problem with volume. He starts technical and throws in combinations but can be sucked into a slug fight where he starts winging from from the hip. He is a solid grappler as well with decent takedowns, heavy top pressure and good ground and pound. He is not great at anything but can do all the things.
