In another post, I broke down Max Griffen and I wasn't afraid to pick him even though he was 40. But now I am breaking down Davey Grant who is also 40 and I will run far far away. Davey's 40 is interesting because his cardio, foot work and speed probably have him closer to 30, but his chin has him at 125. Hi chin was friend with Hellen Keller, they went to school together and were friends because neither one of them had working eyes. Tasteless jokes aside, I am picking and betting on Martinetti. His volume is nuts, the chin is solid, the takedown defense is solid, the takedown offense is solid and even Davey's experience won't matter here because I am anticipating Martinetti overwhelming him with well over 100 strikes.

Davey Grant

Davey Grant is a busy striker who utilizes footwork and range to stay safe. The older he gets, which at this point is pretty old for a career as a fist fighter, he is becoming more of a striker. But people forget that he started his UFC career as a grappler and as a whole, Davey Grant is an experienced grappler who has gotten comfortable with his hands and has developed real power over time. He is not great at anything, but he is tough and busy. With 15 fights under the UFC banner he has built himself some solid fight IQ. He is coming off the loss to Charles Jourdain where he was dropped and subbed in the first round.

Adrian Luna Martinetti

Adrian Luna Martinetti, or Adrian Martinetti or somehow Juan Martinetti is an insanely busy striker who is the other half of that insane contender series from last year. Even though he is only 135lbs he is a pretty long guy who likes to use the length both striking and grappling. He has great volume and is always looking for a finish. Sometimes his strikes get over extended and can be cracked but he has a solid chin. His wrestling is decent and his BJJ is very good. He uses his long limbs both on top and on the ground to snatch things up. He is a really fun guy who is coming off a very fun performance.
