Before I even sat down to do research on this fight, I got a tweet from “Main Street Mark” that said “Ezra Elliott is a certified killer. Give Suga Sean world-level grappling and that is what you get”. So when i went to the tape, imagine my surprise where he basically is divng at legs and I didn't see him strike at all. It's hard to compare him to Sean when Sean is a known world level striker and Ezra seems allergic to striking. His wrestling however is impressive, as is his ability to quickly transton from the wrestling to BJJ. He should win this fight because I think he is the overall better grappler. I haven't seen enough striking to know who is better, but I do know if Damien runs forward swinging wild, he will be taken down anyway.

Damien Anderson

Damien Anderson is a fun forward pressure guy who is a grappler by trade but will fire off rights and lefts before taking a shot. He is very active stiking and does have some power, but he is not very technical. Just kindof throwing and throwing hard, but no real rhyme or reason. He has solid takedowns and very slick BJJ as well. Once he takes you down he is immediately looking for submissions and so far has found them in 4 of his 5 fights.

Ezra Elliott

Ezra Elliott is a hyped prospect who is finally getting hit shot in the UFC. He is a successful wrestler who has a handfull of high school accolades. he transitioned to BJJ and MMA shortly after his high school wrestling career. Style wise he uses those wrestling and BJJ techniques. He shoots big takedowns and immediately looks to climb. He is very long, very flexible and uses all of that to wrap his opponents up. He is notably one of Sean O'Malley's training partners but unlike Sean, doesn't strike.
