This fight is pure fireworks. two guys who will bomb away early and likely not get out of the first round and certainly not the second. I'm going to lean Chidi here. He is faster, longer and just flat better. To see 70% of people on Tapology picking Leal and to see 2-0 odds on Leal is a bit surprising to me. That dude was just knocked out by a 40 year old man and his claim to fame is losing to Rinat and knocking out a very knockoutable Alex Morono. I think Chidi is literally better everywhere except straight grappling but i don't think we end up in a grappling match here. So Chidi is the pick and I have a moneyline bet on him at +165.

Chidi Njokuani

Chidi Njokuani is a very good striker with speed, power and solid distance control. He is not a high volume guy but he sticks and moves really well. His feet are never in the same place for very long and people have a really hard time getting to him. If you are able to get inside the reach and work your way to his legs you can potentially have success with takedowns. He is coming off the submission loss to Jake Matthews where he had heavy kicks and good reach early

Carlos Leal

Carlos Leal is a dangerous Muay Thai striker who is not afraid to engage. His forward pressure and open hand stance do leave him open to leg kicks, but he is durable enough to hang.
