This is a tough fight to matchup because both are primary strikers and good at different things. Casey has the volume and offensive wrestling, Gabriella certainly has more power and the physicality. So the breakdown is if we think Gabriella can come forward and land power or if we think Casey can stay mobile and sneak in a takedown or two. I'm going to lean Gabriella here. I think the threat of power and Casey's long layoff will have her out of sorts and her timing will be off. These odds are dead even but i expect Gabby's ine to takeoff.

Casey O’Neill

At her core Casey O'Neil is a Muay Thai striker. She has solid elbows, is very willing to brawl and gets into fire fights. She can wrestle as well with 8 takedowns in the UFC and a 70% takedown defense. She has incredible volume at almost 8 signifigant strikes landed per minute, but she does get hit as well giving up over 250 significant strikes in her last 3 fights. She is coming off a bounceback win over Luana Santos where she got tossed but popped back up and took over the striking.

Gabriella Fernandes

Gabriella Fernandes is a powerful striker. She is big, strong, fast and technical. Her takedown defense is ok but it is mostly her being bigger and stronger and less about her using the right techniques. She has solid BJJ and can work well off her back but it almost works against her at times where instead of scrambling back to her feet where she will be the better striker, she will play a BJJ game. She is coming off the decision win over Julija Stolierenko where she looked big, fast and very clean in the striking.
