Bruno Silva vs. Charles Johnson Picks, Prediction and Bets

SILVA VS JOHNSON

Bruno was originally supposed to fight Lone'er Kavanagh but he was pulled to fight Moreno in Mexico and Charles Johnson stepped up. So this is somewhat short notice, but nothing crazy. This is also a tricky breakdown because Charles is the better fighter and should be able to win by staying at range and being busy. But Bruno hits like a truck and if he looks as physically dominant in this fight as he did his last, he could literally bully his way to a win. I'm going to pick Charles because I trust his fight IQ and his ability to avoid the power, but this could be a trap.

Bruno Silva

Bruno Silva is a well rounded guy with solid power, strong wresting and nasty submissions. He's literally good everywhere. He isn't clean or technical, but he is very tough and likes to make fights ugly. He has incredible power and can put anyone in the division on their ass. He's coming off the Submission win over Hyun Sung Park where Silva looked a little “saucy” if you know what I mean.

Charles Johnson

Charles Johnson is a busy, technical striker with decent takedown defense and really nice hand speed. He has nice output at almost 5 significant strikes per minute and can keep that pace for 15 minutes. He is 7-5 in the ufc but all 5 losses are to quality fighters and the 7 wins are against young prospects, including the currently flyweight world champion Joshua Van. He is one of the more active fighters on the roster and despite being knocked out by Alex Perez in his last fight, he has beaten a handful of young prospects.
