I have to give a lot of credit to Ikram's corner in his last fight because the advice to not look tired or he will finish you, was literally perfect. It accounts for both sides of that fight. The first of course being that Jung Yung park is no bitch and will continue to fight till the end, the second being that they know Ikram does have some bitch in him and could potentially quit and thats an important factor in this breakdown because I actually think Ikram wins here because he has a touch more cardio and I like the wrestling upside, but I do worry that if Bruno goes balls out and keeps it standing, Ikram may fold to the pressure. Bruno is arguably the most dangerous guy that Ikram has fought to date and all Bruno really needs to be the favorite here is some cardio. I'll shoot my shot and pick Bruno, but I don't love that pick if i'm being honest.
Brunno Ferreira
Bruno Ferreira is a very powerful striker who is light on his feet and constantly mixing up his attacks. He bounces on his toes which really helps him come in and out of the pocket well. He can grapple as well with high level judo, powerful takedowns and slick, BJJ, but he is definitely a striker and only uses his grappling if he is in trouble or his opponents initiate it. His cardio can be questionable but he didn't even in need it in his last fight because he was KO'd by Gregory Rodrigues in the first 2 minutes.
Ikram Aliskerov
Ikram Aliskerov is a Russian wrestler who's hands have looked so good he hasn't needed to wrestle in the UFC up until his last fight. When he is wrestling he has nonstop pressure with constant body locks, tie ups and shots. When he gets you to the ground he is like an 8th layer of skin and is impossible to shake. His striking is quickly improving with a high guard, solid combinations and great power. He is coming off the decision win over the always tough, Jung Yung Park where he started to fade and his corner literally told him “don't look tired or he will finish you”.
