Brad Tavares vs. Robert Bryczek

TAVARES VS BRYCZEK

This is tough because Tavares is about as far past your prime as you can be before you are totally washed and even though Bryczek is a trained boxer, he is literally only a boxer and doesn't even do that very well. So I need to go with the older Tavares because even though he isn't who he used to be, he will certainly fight and not stare. Tavares is the pick but no odds here to determine if he's worth betting or not.

Brad Tavares

Brad Tavares is an aging middleweight who can still hang. He is 16-10 in the UFC and fought pretty much every old head in the division. He is a solid striker with very good takedown defense at 81% and the Hawaain fighting spirit. He's not very dangerous but is well rounded and typically durable. Even though he is 37 which for middleweight isn't that bad, he has been through enough battles that his fight age is closer to 45. He is starting to decline but can still hang with the low and mid tier guys. He is coming off the decision win over Gerald Meerschaert

Robert Bryczek

Robert Bryczek is a trained boxer who takes those techniques into the cage. He is light on his feet and plots his way forward while fainting and pumping a jab. He keeps his eyes forward and is fully dialed in. He is not high volume but his constant feints and big power create issues for people. He has solid takedown defense, but he can absolutely be taken down if you don't fall for the feints and shoot a clean shot up the middle. He is coming off the low volume loss to Ihor Poteira
