There is no reason to over complicate this. Melissa stinks and Bia seems to be the truth. I was always concerned about the striking and the takedowns, but those seem just fine, especially against the level of competition she has had in front of her. Bia is the pick and likely by finish.

Bia Mesquita

Beatriz Mesquita or Bia, depending on where she is listed, is a nasty grappler. Like one of the best female grapplers in the world. Her striking isn't technically great but we have seen some power. But since she's a grappler, she is looking to get fights to the ground. The takedowns aren't anything special, but they have been working for her. Once she gets it to the ground, its pretty much lights out. She is coming off the quick win over Monterrsat Rendon where she dropped her, then took her down, then submitted her.

Melissa Mullins

Melissa Mullins kinda stinks, but she can do a few things well. She is a powerful and accurate striker but she is hittable. Her offensive striking is clean and can be impressive but her head movement and striking defense lacks. She will work in the clinch or at a range as well as grapple. She is technically a BJJ world champion, but I have never seen anything in her skills that would indicate that. She is coming off the loss to Daria where she looked pretty horrendous on the feet and was hit with everything thrown her way. After that she was supposed to fight Luana Carolina at UFC London but that was scrapped because Luana missed weight by an astonishing 8 pounds.
