This should be Ruffy right? Like we trust his takedown defense? Mauricio should dominate here, his striking is insane, his size is impressive, the footwork is there. He should win. If he is wet blanketed, i would be disappointed but not shocked. I have to lean Ruffy here and do expect a showcase.

Benoit Saint-Denis

Benoit st. Denis is a strong wrestler with well timed shots and a ton of pressure on top. He has 9 fights in the UFC with 21 takedowns which is impressive considering he has only seen the 3rd round once. When he gets it to the ground he has very good pressure and works to submissions well. He has a ton of power on his feet which makes him dangerous everywhere, but he can be hittable. He is all gas, no breaks and has no quit in him. He is coming off the finish win over Kyle Prepolec.

Mauricio Ruffy

Mauricio Ruffy is a nasty striker with big fight ending power. He has 12 wins with 11 stoppages. He will throw heavy 1-2s and look for power. He isn't just a boxer though, he will launch kicks right up the middle and he will defend takedowns really well. We have seen him carry power to the 3rd round which is nice because BSD is durable. We haven't seen a ton of takedown defense out of him but we haven't seen him rag dolled either. He is coming off the insane spinning heel kick to the head win over Bobby Green
