The pick is Azamat here but I do want to point out that Paulo Costa just looked the best he has looked in his last fight. He moved forward, landed clean and doubled the strikes of someone that was supposed to be the better striker. But that's the only time in the last 7 years that he looked good so I am not putting too much stock into it. Azamat has incredible power, high level wrestling and solid takedown defense. Costa has a chin on him but what's impressive about Murzakanov's power is that he doesn't chase. He finds the power in the exchanges without over extending. Azamat is the pick and maybe we get lucky enough for a 1.5 round line so we can bet on durability.

Azamat Murzakanov

Azamat Murzakanov is not the biggest light heavyweight in the division but has legit power. He is fast and heavy handed with a knockdown in all 7 of his UFC fights. He is a good wrestler with solid ground and pound but his hands are so good that he doesn't go to it often. He is coming off the KO win over Aleksander Rakic where he only needed 3 strikes.

Paulo Costa

Paulo Costa is usually the best looking guy on a fight card, but he does have some competition in the main event. He is a big dude with sold power, a ton of output and a surprising cardio. He has more cancelled fights than actual fights in the last 3 years with a ratio of 7-5. He is always a ton of fun to watch with his forward pressure, heavy fast punches and a relentless pace. On average he lands more than 6 significant strikes per minute which is double almost everyone else in the division. He also has very good takedown defense at 80%. He is coming off the showcase win over Roman Kopylov
