This fight was actually supposed to happen at UFC 320 but Diaz pulled out. Ateba was -950 then and I expect it to be similar or worse now.
There is no reason to over complicate this. Ozzy can be knocked out, and Ateba could knock out a tree. One plus one equals two here and Ateba should win by knockout. Even if he doesn't get an early knockout, we just saw that his cardio maintains and he doesn't death gas. Ateba is the easiest pick on this card but unfortunately, not an affordable one.
Ateba Gautier
Ateba Gautier is a nasty striker with incredible speed and power. He does a phenomenal job mixing up boxing and kickboxing. He with throw to the head and body, he will light up your guard and then start firing kicks off combinations. He is very dangerous with not only 8 finishes, but 8 early finishes. He is a freak athlete and a comes out hot, but like so many others, that flame tends to die down as the fight goes on but he doesn't death gas and has a very good chin. He is coming off the decision win over Andrey Pulayev where we saw the power and the durability.
Ozzy Diaz
Ozzy Diaz is a striker who is light on his feet and likes to use movement well. He has some grappling, but by no means is he a grappler. He can find finishes in the clinch or at distance. He is creative with his striking and is tough, but he can also be hit and is a bit chinny. He is tall at 6'4 but isn't the thickest guy in the world. In fact, he fought a good chunk of his career at middle weight. He is coming off a busy win over Djorden Santos
