I like this fight a lot because it is not only a fun striker vs striker matchup, but also a logical step up in competition for Ateba. He beheaded a couple of non-UFC level guys, so now he will be tested against someone who has a win in the UFC and solid striking. I still think this is an Ateba showcase, but i am very interested to see what happens if this fight goes long. It likely doesn't, but could be interesting if it does. Ateba is the pick and likely by KO.

Ateba Gautier

Ateba Gautier is a nasty striker with incredible speed and power. He does a phenomenal job mixing up boxing and kickboxing. He with throw to the head and body, he will light up your guard and then start firing kicks off combinations. He is very dangerous with not only 8 finishes, but 8 early finishes. He is a freak athlete and a comes out hot, but like so many others, that flame tends to die down as the fight goes on. He is coming off another impressive knockout, this time over short notice UFC step up, Trestin Vines

Andrey Pulyaev

Andrey Pulyaev is a solid striker who takes his time and keeps things tight. He is very tall and uses his range well. He uses a jab more often than most but many times there is nothing behind it. He does a nice job working the body on the feet and transitioning to takedowns when he needs them. He is coming off the KO win over Nick Kline where he gave up 4 takedowns before the eventual fight ending kick.
