I am actually surprised to see Jingnan in the UFC. Not because she was a One FC fighters, but because she is 38 years old. There's no way she was cheap and we know she doesn't have a ton of career left. But she is very fun and a finisher in a division full of decision fighters. But before you blindly pick a 38 year old UFC newcomer, let me remind you that even though her overall record is not very good, Angela Hill has been fighting the best women on the planet while Jingnan has been knocking out regional asians in an organization that has been known to have fixed fights. Now I am still going to pick Jingnan here, but only because of the fight style. Angela loves to work at space and stay mobile, but I don't think she gets that opportunity. I think jingnan just plows forward, gets in her face and leaves her zero room to move. This is a very intriguing fight and I will be full rooting for Angela Hill because.
Angela Hill
Angela Hill is a high IQ veteran fighter. She is mostly a striker with speed, volume and lots of versatility, but not much power. She is a talented fighter who has become the gate keeper of the weight class. She is good everywhere but not a threat. Her path to victory in this and every other fight is to stick and move, avoid power, avoid takedowns and exploit rookie mistakes. She is coming off the decision loss to Fatima Kline where she lost both the striking and the grappling exchanges.
Jingnan Xiong
Jingnan Xiong is the former One FC world champion but is in the UFC now because One FC is done with the little lady fights. Style wise, Jingnan is an insanely powerful striker who literally just moves forward and throws. Her power is wildly impressive for her size and she has 10 KO wins which would have you assume that she has clean technique, but she really doesn't. She's looping and wild, she's also very hittable, but shes incredibly tough and incredibly dangerous. She can grapple as well, but it is squarely a backup plan.
