This is the first of what will be 2 fights for the Ultimate Fighter finale I don't watch TUF so I don't have all the plot lines or in house drama down, but I did go back to ESPN and watch the fights and also check out their regional success.

This is a brand new matchup and we don't have anything that resembles odds yet, but I have to imagine the well rounded, undefeated Kazakstani will be the favorite. He should win here. He has the forward pressure, he has the wrestling offense and defense. Morales is tough as hell, but you could argue that his TUF semi finals fight should've gone to another round and things were trending against him. He doesn't love pressure and uses it to shoot underneath, but not sure that will bother Idiris.

Alibi Idiris

Alibi Idiris is a proud Kazakstani who fight slike one. Very loose on the feet, fast hands, comfortable in all positions. He is so comfortable on his feet that he is non stop forward pressure and spins more times than you would like. He is not afraid to mix it up. He has solid wrestling as well but it is squarely a plan b.

Joseph Morales

Joseph Morales is a solid wrestler and grappler. He doesn't desperately shoot takedowns, but when he does, he gets to the legs and elevates. on the ground he has great control and patience. Hi striking isn't great but he can take a shot and is tough as hell. His issue on the feet is he is a bit too patient but he does a good job bobbing and weaving to avoid what comes his way.
