I want to sit here and say that Morono is the overall better fighter, he has fought the higher level of competition and that the grappling gap is as wide as your mother's back, but I won't, because after i say all of that and outline a very clear path to victory, Alex freaking Morono will just stand there and try to knock this dude out. So the pick has to be Daniil. Not because he is the overall better fighter, but because he is the far more dangerous striker and Alex is too stubborn to grapple. Maybe he realizes he is on a 3 fight skid and needs this win to keep his job, but seems unlikely at this point.
Alex Morono
With a 100% straight face, I will tell you that Alex Morono is a good fighter who very good skills. He's just wildly inconsistent. He is a well rounded guy with awkward but effective striking and incredibly under appreciated grappling. He is a high level blackbelt but doesn't use his wrestling as often as you'd like. He is coming off the early KO loss to Carlos Leal where he tried to sling heavy instead of use his grappling skills.
Daniil Donchenko
Daniil Donchenko is a nasty striker with power. He does a great job chopping down the tree and firing clean rights. He is not super fast, but he hits hard and can mix up the grappling and striking very well. He is a violent fighter who is constantly looking for a finish but can fade as fights go on. He is coming off the KO win over Rodrigo Sezinando
