On a card loaded with razor thin fights, we are blessed with an easy one. Abdul should dominate here. He will be the better striker, wrestler and grappler. He is also fighting a known quitter in a set up fight. Yakhyahev is the pick and an inside the distance bet is definitely good to go.
Abdul Rakhman Yakhyaev
AbdulRakhman Yakhyaev is a solid prospect who can wrestle and strike. He has fantastic takedowns with everything from body locks to actual shots. On the feet he has great power and throws in combinations. He doesn't have a ton of volume but he does have accuracy and a solid chin. When he gets takedowns he throws out strikes and will snatch up submissions. Overall he is a well rounded guy with finishing upside. He is coming off the submission win over Raffael Cequiria where he dropped him and pounced for the choke
Brendson Ribeiro
Brendson Ribeiro is an offensive striker with solid grappling. He likes to move forward and get his hands going but is very hittable. His takedowns are mediocre but if a fight does end up on the ground he is very aggressive and hunts for submissions. He is dangerous both on top but not so much off his back. While Ribeiro has a pretty well rounded offense, he does have a quit button and can be finished. He is coming off his most recent quitting against Oumar Sy
