Grant Dawson vs. Nurullo Aliev Pick, Prediction and Bets

Grant Dawson vs Nurullo Aliev

This fight is the Spiderman meme, but boring. So instead of two identical super heroes pointing at each other, its 2 bottles of extra strength Nyquil. If we could cut them both before the fight even starts, that would be more entertaining to watch than whatever this will be. Both of these guys are non stop control wrestlers with below average striking. Now don’t get me wrong, i don’t hate wrestling, in fact, I love it, i wrestled my entire life. But there is a difference between MMA wrestling and whatever these two are doing. You could tie a baby to Grant Dawsons back before a fight and he would rock her to sleep. We just heard that Farid Basharat was cut by the UFC at 16-0 for seemingly being boring and if thats the new standard, then these two should start learning how to vibe code. Anyway, we have a wrestler vs wrestler matchup and while I think Nurullo is the better actual wrestler, but Grant is the better MMA fighter and he is always well prepared. he control that he has zero chin whatsoever but he does control his gameplans. I expect Grant to waste no time, be the aggressor and get the takedowns. I’ve said it many times before, it is easier to get a bad takedown than to defend a good one.

Grant Dawson

Grant Dawson is a grappler who averages more than 5 takedowns per fight. He has a great ground game with absolutely relentless pressure. His striking is not very good, genuinely bad at times, so his clear advantage in almost all of his fights is his wrestling and grappling. His pressure and willingness to be a crotch sniffing wrestler has has afforded him quite a bit of success in the UFC but almost no fans. He is coming off the submission win over teammate Mateusz Rebecki.

Nurullo Aliev

Nurullo Aliev is a dominant wrestler who has been competing his entire life. He has a forward pressure wrestling style where he is constantly threatening, then shooting and reshooting. He has decent striking as well where he is light on his feet and pumps a jab to work in for takedowns. His takedowns are powerful and relentless but aren’t the fastest. He is coming off the decision win over Mike Davis where he had plenty of control.
