Nate the train is an absolutely dog but it doesn’t matter how tough you are if your chin doesn’t hold up. Sure, he’s being KO’d by people like Cub Swanson and the Korean Superboy, but even though Nallo doesn’t have that name recognition, I think he has that power. We saw it in his last fight, he had a very good striker in Jai Herbert almost knocked out, but chased too hard and ran into a shot. I think this is a step up for Mandel in toughness, but a step down in technique, as long as he doesn’t get sucked into a war with someone as battle tested as Nate, he should win here so Mandel is the pick.

Mandel Nallo

Mandel Nallo is a solid counter striker with good power and a wide variety. He has great kicks and stays long. He will chew your legs up to limit your motion then come up top to your head. He can wrestle when he needs to and has slick BJJ on top. He is insanely dangerous and has a 100% finish rate split pretty evenly across both KOs and submissions. His takedown defense is ok and if he is taken down he immediately works up and creates scrambles. He is coming off the KO loss to Jai Herbert where Jai asked to call an ambulance, but not for him.

Nate Landwehr

Nate Landwehr is a wild man. He will run forward throw crazy and look for a finish at all costs. He is a talented guy with decent power and some skills. He puts himself in harms way for no reason, but thats why he is so fun to watch. His willingness to engage is enough to break people and he is a hard guy to get out of there. He is coming off the KO loss to Cub Swanson in Cub’s retirement fight.
