Darya is definitely a good striker, but not the better striker. Beating the absolute piss out of Melissa Mullins won’t translate to a win over Alice. Alice is too long, too slick and does have that sneaky power because of how well she uses her length and range. I’m very confident in Alice here, maybe too confident. But in an open cage situation where she can strike and not worry about being held against the cage, she shines. I think Alice runs away with this and I bet on her at -130 before that extends.
Darya Zheleznyakova
Darya Zheleznyakova is a fun come forward striker who will throw everything at her opponents. She has heavy 1-2s that she follows up with leg or body kicks and then heavy knees that she will throw in clinches. She loves to walk you down and outwork you. Everything she throws is with intent and she has no issues with a firefight. Her takedown defense however sucks. She is coming off the decision loss to Melissa Croden where she looked good early but faded and couldn’t handle the wrestling.
Alice Pereira
Alice Pereira is a nasty striker. She is long, lean and powerful as hell. She is only 20 years old but has been competing for some time now. She is primarily a striker with speed and power, but she can grapple as well. She has great hips and incredible ground and pound. She came into the division as a hyped prospect and even though she did lose that UFC debut, she rebounded nicely in her last fight with the KO win over Hailey Cowan
