Gable Steveson vs. Sean Sharaf Pick, Prediction and Bets

Gable Steveson vs Sean Sharaf

Could honestly just skip this fight. Gable will likely lose one day, but that day certainly isn’t this Saturday and it certainly won’t be because of Sean Sharaf. Gable is better everywhere, and even if he wasn’t, it wouldn’t matter. It is clear he has things he has to work on, but his physical attributes and wrestling background will keep him safe until he hits the top 10 or so in the division. Gable by first round finish should be -1500, so that should give you an idea in the confidence I have here. Also, to be clear, this isn’t Gable glazing because I think it’s way too early, this is probably 70% Sharaf hate – that guy sucks and should not be in the UFC.

Gable Steveson

Gable Steveson is an exciting addition to a very weak heavyweight division. He is only 4 fights into his MMA career but he has a lifetime of wrestling accolades that have him locked in as one of the best heavyweight wrestlers we have ever had. He is a 2x NCAA national champion, 3x world champion and an Olympic Gold medalist. You would assume that his wrestling background would have him diving at legs in his fights, but it doesn’t. We don’t have the largest sample size, but it’s clear he has power in his hands and isn’t afraid to engage.

Sean Sharaf

Sean Sharaf is a heavy handed striker. He only has 4 pro MMA wins and all of them are KOs. He is not the most technical striker but he does have some random power. He throws everything with intent and if decide to engage in a brawl, it could get ugly. He is a former marine with a never say die attitude and a determination to keep the 100% finish rate. The problem is that the finish rate now exists on both sides because he is terrible.
