Tai Tuivasa is currently tied to BJ Penn for the second longest losing streak in UFC history and is only one loss to Robelis Despaine away from tying with Tony Ferguson for the actual longest losing streak in UFC history.

Unless Tai shows up with a beard and no mustache, he ain’t winning this fight. Robelis is an incredible striker who will be bigger, stronger and faster than Tai in ever single exchange. Tai is on an unprecedented 7 fight losing streak which we were able to justify early when he was losing to people like Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov, but the minute you lose to Louie Sutherland is when you know buddy is checked out. Now I get it, he moved the Florida and is at American Top Team which I do genuinely think will help him, but he went there in August, there’s only so much that can be fixed or improved on in two months. Robelis has massive wrestling holes and while Tai has zero takedowns in the UFC, I wouldn’t be shocked if he tried here – it just won’t matter.

Tai Tuivasa

Tai Tuivasa is a heavy handed striker with solid volume and great low kicks well. He can be fast and powerful for his size but he has been inconsistent as of late. Tuivasa has fantastic leg kicks, a piercing jab and a big overhand. His takedown defense is almost non-existent and has zero offesnive takedowns in the UFC. You used to be able to argue that Tuivasa’s biggest asset was his chin, but that seems to be on its way out. He is coming off he sloppy back and forth loss to Louie Sutherland

Robelis Despaigne

Robelis Despaigne is an absolute monster of a human being. He is a massive 6 foot 7 and an olympic taekwando medalist. He has insane power in both his hands and his feet. If you go watch his Tae Kwan Do matches you will see speed, athleticism and timing as well. He does get hit though because his hands are low as he’s bouncing in and out. He is coming off the KO win over Junior Dos Santos at MVP on Netflix earlier this year.
