If Moreno can’t win here, then his career is over. I’m not saying that because Morales stinks, but I am saying that because he is the former world champion who was fighting the best guys in the world, not he has a guy who is 2 fights removed from the Ultimate Fighter. He’s a slick grappler but he should not be able to take down and then control or submit Moreno. I’m going to pick Moreno here and lets hope his run of losses in Mexico doesn’t trickle into Arizona because it’s Noche.

Brandon Moreno

Brandon Moreno is the former flyweight champion of the world and at one point one of the divisions best bt since then he has been a bit hot and cold. He is an absolute dog and a ton of fun to watch. He is very tough, has a great chin, and puts on a nonstop pace. He averages more than 1 takedown per fight and mixes things up well. His biggest asset is definitely his pace and his will to win. He will continue to come forward and stay busy regardless of whats happening. He is coming off the decision loss to Loner Kavanagh who stepped up on short notice

Joseph Morales

Joseph Morales is a solid wrestler and grappler. He doesn’t desperately shoot takedowns, but when he does, he gets to the legs and elevates. On the ground he has great control and patience. His striking isn’t great but he can take a shot and is tough as hell. His issue on the feet is he is a bit too patient but he does a good job bobbing and weaving to avoid what comes his way.
