Michael Page vs. Nursulton Ruziboev Pick, Prediction and Bets

ZIAM VS SOLA

This is a tough pick for me because i love both these guys and have an enormous amount of respect for them as fighters. In fact, I am pretty sure I have picked both of them in every one of their UFC fights and have had each in multiple safety parlays. I love MVP but we can all agree his style requires people to be aggressive. As a counter striker he needs you to come in and commit so he can counter. What I think makes this matchup tough is that Nursulton isn’t a very aggressive guy and he’s so long, that even when he does commit to something, he could still be on the outside of range. MVP is almost 40 but is still towards the top of the division. I understand him being the favorite and the path to victory, but I’m going to pick the dog, here. I think Nursulton’s length can be an issue and if he decides to mix in grappling, the same way Ian Garry did, he can pull this off. So Nursulton is the pick and unfortunately, this fight likely stinks.

Michael Page

Michael Venom Page is a savage striker. He is certainly a few years past his prime, but he is still an insanely dangerous striker with a sport karate background. His striking style is awkward and unorthodox, but it is very effective. He is insanely accurate and very powerful. He is very long and uses his range well on the outside before leaping in and working his kickboxing. His takedown defense is just ok and you will not see him attempt any offensive takedowns. He is coming off the decision win over Sam Patterson

Nursulton Ruziboev

Nursulton Ruziboez is a wrestling and grappling beast who has been showcasing his hands in the UFC. We haven’t seen much wrestling out of him in the Octagon, but on the regional scene he was a non stop wrestler who would get you to the ground any way that he needs to. On the ground he is very aggressive and always transitioning while looking for a finish. But on his feet he is a little more patient and calculated where he waits for openings then fires right hands down the middle. He is a massive 6’5 and carries that size well. He is coming off the very quick win over Andrey Pulayev
