This fight is a rematch from UFC Macau in May. In that fight Alex won the first round but was dropped in the second, able to survive and then got hit in the nuts so bad he was fake throwing up in a bucket and couldn't continue. Another important note here is that Alex closed as the favorite in that fight but is now a decent sized underdog because of how things were going.
I picked Alex in this fight the first time and after seeing one and a half rounds, I am switching my pick. Alex has always had inconsistent cardio but as that fight went on Su just got faster, cleaner, and somehow longer. Su was definitely taking over and while I won't outright accuse Alex of leaning into the nut shot to get out of the fight, i will certainly hint at it. Su is going to be the pick here, but there is definitely a world where Alex learned enough from the first fight to make the adjustments for the second.
Alex Perez
Alex Perez is a very good striker with fantastic low kicks and solid wrestling. He averages more than 2 takedowns per fight and has a sold 75% takedown defense. He has fought a murderers row of the best 125lbers on the planet which is reflected in both his UFC record with 6 losses, but also his actual performances where he clearly has high level skills.
Sumudaerji
Sumudaerji is a fast striker with laser accuracy and solid volume. He doesn't have much power but because he is so fast and his movement is so well timed he can get stoppages. He has a great in and out style and can out decision most people who aren't looking to take him down.
