You guys know I love my wrestlers and it's going to be more of the same here. I actually think Meng's insane forward pressure and punches from the hip will only leave him open to be taken down and once it hits the ground, it will stay there. Cam has great control, great wresrtling and great BJJ. I actually think this is a pretty straight forward win for him and a perfect matchup for his UFC debut.

Meng Ding

Meng Ding is an exciting guy who didn't have success on the Contender Series but has had an incredible amount of success otherwise. He has almost 50 fights worth of experience but when you watch him fight, he fights like a young prospect. While he is relatively young at 31, his fighting style screams 23. He runs forward, throws like crazy then usually drops for a takedown. He will throw kicks from everywhere, punches from his hips and then rip blast doubles. When he is on top he has incredible ground and pound where he raining down everything he can to get the fight stopped. He is coming off the split decision loss to Jose Souza which I thought he won.

Cam Nelson

Cam Nelson is an athletic grappler who is seemingly imroving at an incredible pace. He is fast, athletic, willing to strike and a very good wrestler. He shoots clean takedowns and has great contorl on the ground. He has a solid BJJ background with compedetive jiu jitsu, but uses his BJJ for base and control so he can elbow and look for a finish. He doesn't strike for very long so it is hard to guage where he is at in that department, but given the athletecism we can assume its improving.
