I like Edson, when he was younger and more durable, he was a savage. But at 40, after getting knocked out the way he did, I just don't see him winning here. Technique wise, he is the more technical fighter. But the durability won't be there and neither will the speed. Esteban is clean, durable and busy. He should be able to stay a step ahead the entire fight. If you look at his record, he has never really lost to a striker. You could say Nasrat, but Nasrat had to wrestle and Esteban got robbed. Esteban is the pick and if you'r betting him, just hope Edson doesn't turn into a Nurmogomedov.

Edson Barboza

Edson Barbosa is a 40 year old striker, so everything I am about to say is pretty dated. In his early 30s, he was great striker with amazing movement. He has fought every single person in this division and is a walking highlight reel of KOs and submissions. He is unbelievably fast and insanely technical. Barboza doesn't initiate many takedowns, but he is very good on the ground with some sneaky submissions. But now, at 40, he's a little slower, the eye is droopier and he has lost 3 in a row.

Esteban Ribovics

Esteban Ribovics is very good. He is an impressive striker with sneaky power. His strikes are tight, short and accurate. He has a high tight guard and works forward picking his shots. Despite his impressive knockout highlights, he isn't just a striker. He has nice takedowns and solid BJJ as well. He will shoot clean doubles or upper body trip to get you to the ground and then immediately look to snatch something up. He is coming off the submission loss to Mateusz Gamrot
